Type a link or some text to create your QR code.

Make a QR code from a link or text

A QR code lets someone scan a link with a phone camera instead of typing it. Use one on a poster, a business card, a menu, a product label or a slide, so people can open your page in a second.

Choose a higher error correction level if the code will be printed small, worn, or placed over a logo. Higher levels make the code a little denser, but they can still be read when part of it is damaged.

Questions

What can I put in a QR code?

Any text works, including web addresses, phone numbers, plain messages and Wi-Fi details written in the standard format.

What size should I print?

As a rule of thumb, make the code at least about 2 cm (under an inch) square for scanning from close up, and bigger for posters.

Is my text uploaded?

No. The code is drawn in your browser and the text never leaves your device.
