This page lists every cookie and piece of browser storage ManyEdit uses, what each one does, and how to change your choice. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle data more generally.
Browser storage we set
These items are saved in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device and we cannot read them remotely.
- theme remembers whether you chose light or dark mode. It is needed only to keep your choice.
Cookies set by Google (advertising)
Google's advertising code loads on pages that show ads. For UK and EU visitors, Google's consent message controls whether Google sets advertising cookies. Google then sets its own cookies to show and measure ads. The names and lifetimes of these cookies are controlled by Google and can change. For details, see Google's cookies policy.
If you reject advertising cookies in Google's consent message, these cookies are not set.
Security cookies from Cloudflare
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may set a short-lived cookie to help protect the site from automated abuse. It does not track you across sites and is not used for advertising.
Change or remove your choice
- UK and EU visitors can change their advertising choice through Google's consent message.
- You can clear cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time. This also resets your theme setting.
- You can manage personalised ads at adssettings.google.com.
