Trim Video
Cut a video to the part you need and download the clip. Nothing is uploaded.

or click to choose. MP4, WebM and MOV work in most browsers.
How to trim a video in your browser
- Drop a video into the box, or click to choose one. The preview appears.
- Drag Start to the first frame you want, and End to the last.
- Press Trim and download. The clip plays through once while it's recorded.
- When it finishes, the trimmed video downloads automatically.
What format do I get?
Your browser decides the format. Chrome, Edge and Firefox usually save WebM, and newer versions of Chrome and Edge can save MP4. The file name shows which one you got. Most editors and video players accept both.
Tips
- Trim to the second you need rather than leaving extra seconds at the start and end.
- Keep the tab open and in the foreground while recording. Background tabs can pause the recording.
- Close other heavy tabs first. Long, high-resolution videos need more processing power.
Limits
Cutting uses the recording method built into your browser, so the result is re-encoded and may be a little softer than the original. It can't copy audio that the browser doesn't expose, so check the sound before you share it.
More questions
Is my video uploaded?
No. The trim happens in your browser, and the clip is saved to your device.
